The first days of snow were great and its now looking like we’ll have a snow filled Christmas with lots of other "trimmings" to come.   Last night we had a winter wind storm warning with winds of 40 – 60 mph in the Cascade foothills.   Next in (due  tomorrow) is freezing rain.

It’s really getting me in the mood for our upcoming ski trip.   Heck, at the rate things are going in Washington, we could just stay put and ski from the house.

The dogs are loving the snow and have spent endless hours outside rolling, running, jumping and (ahem) writing their names in the snow.
