I tried to message you through Twitter, but not sure if you’ll get it. Just wanted to thank you both for walking with me on Friday and Saturday. Really helped to get me underway on Saturday morning and I appreciated the company! I made it safely into Glenfinnan around 3pm after a hard, wet slog (although it doesn’t sound as bad as your route to Glenmallie!). Was very kindly offered a lift to Fort William A&E by a local and had some x-rays taken. Looks like bad ligament damage and my arm was extremely painful by the time I got there, so unfortunately I took the decision to withdraw from the Challenge the following day 🙁 Such bad luck, but I think it was safest decision as I couldn’t even perform some basic tasks by myself! Will be applying for Challenge 2012 though so hopefully see you then! Will be following your progress on the blog/Social Hiking in the mean time 🙂
