Wishing you warm, sunny days for the remainder of your trek. Next time have a pint for me. Rained here for the past five days. Rode our first century Saturday.

Love you both,
Dad

The ‘glove’ of a wildcat is the pad. If the cat is ‘ungloved’, its claws are unsheathed. The motto serves as a warning that one should beware when the wildcat’s claws are ‘without a glove’. It is a reference to the historically violent nature of the clan and serves as a metaphorical warning to other clans that they should think twice before interfering with Macpherson business.

Very beautiful and wild despite the track through it. Glad the weather seems to be improving. Last year I had about 4 hrs of rain in the entire crossing. Not that you wanted to hear that. Loving the blog posts, keeping me entertained whilst sat at my desk supposedly working.
